13 January 2019

I just posted a new poem in my little Altar on the Moon. Let me know what you think and if you liked it. c:

I'm back after a long break! Sadly, I deactivated my first account (Pink Sky) in November 2017, which means that all my memories there were deleted with it. But now we're back *snaps fingers while dancing* we're back, so in case you remember me, or you don't remember me, or you'd like to be friends drop a Quickee! I'm pretty sure I forgot to add some people I knew as well so if I did please don't have it against me (shit memory lol) and add me so we can be fans again :3

Profile Information

Oh yay, look at all this space for me to write about myself!

Booksie's been my home since late 2015. I took a long break just before 2018 started because I thought that some time away would be more fruitful. And over a year later, I've realized that I love this place like it were a hangout where all my friends and I meet for coffee. This feeling is far too precious for me to abandon.

As for introductions:

I'm Christy, I'm a body-positive feminist, I support the LGBTQ+ community, individuals of all races, and people with mental illnesses.

I write poetry and the occasional short stories. I hope my writings can be positive emotional outlets for myself and others, maybe even like a safe space.

Oh and, I'm actually magical you see. One must give me 10 hugs and Lindt chocolate to receive good fortune for 10 years. What are you waiting for?

Currently reading: Call Me By Your Name, by André Aciman.

Book Recommendations:

  • The Kite Runner, by Khaled Husseini
  • Sea Prayer, by Khaled Husseini
  • A Game of Thrones, by George R R Martin
  • The Witch of Portobello, by Paulo Coelho
  • The Broken Wings, by Gibran Khalil Gibran
  • The Sun and Her Flowers, by Rupi Kaur
