STATEMENT: Everything we bake is stale even when it is "freshly" baked.

There is an immediate declination of freshness in everything we remove from the oven. So, conclusively, the very instant the food item has hit the air and left the heat, it becomes stale: A process of becoming/being increasingly stale at a general undetermined rate (eventually leading to molding, decomposition, and inexistance).

My curiosity is over the undetermined rate of declination

Whats the variation? How effective are our preservations (ex. cling wrap & containers, refrigeration) in slowing the inevitable progression?

But regardless.

Still stale. Just differently (by percentages based on ingredients & prolonged air exposure?) throughout an {inconclusive} timeline.
